FS#8989 - [Evermoon] Aoe and pvp flags
Aoe spells currently hit targets of the opposite faction regardless if they’re flagged for pvp or not. It’s really noticeable as a hunter when someone from the opposite faction runs across your traps and pops them. I imagine stuff like frozen orb, blizzard, thunderclap, blood boil, rushing jade wind and similar effects also work the same way.
Additionally I believe that you can force a pvp flag on another player by enabling yourself for pvp and then standing in their aoe effects.
Re-Open edit: just did a bit more testing (spinning crane kick specifically) - aoe effects hit the other faction’s pets. If that other player is flagged for pvp your pvp is forced on too.

Rushing jade wind certainly flagged me for pvp when hitting the other faction with it. No idea if they were flagged before or not.

I just fixed traps and i don’t think that there would be any other spell as the generic target filling already ignored pvp off players in the faction’s zones.
Pets and areatriggers could still cause problems, fixed now, check it please after a restart.
