FS#40534 - Deathbringer Saurfang issues

NORMAL AND HEROIC

  • Probably most severe: his skills generate too little Blood Power. Here are few values we pieced together from wowhead comments (need to scroll down a bit, it puts me at the top of comments, or ctrl-f “hardmode”) or other forum posts if it’s of any use: - fixed
    1. Blood Nova should give 2BP (5BP on heroic) per target it hits.
    2. Blood Beasts attacks should generate 3BP (5BP on heroic).
    3. Rune of Blood should give 1BP (heroic value unknown).
  • Rune of Blood doesn’t seem to generate Blood Power.
  • As above patchnote says, Blood Power generation should not be mitigable by Power Word:Shield absorbs. Currently only Blood Beast auto attacks and MoTCF (incorrectly either way, read above) seem to give BP when attack is absorbed. - fixed
  • Blood Beasts are susceptible to hard CCs such as Fear, Polymorph, Freezing Arrow (probably also Cyclone but haven’t checked that one). Players should only be able to stun, snare and slow them. - fixed
  • Blood Nova should have 12 yards radius of effect, currently this seems to be the case at the start of the fight, but somehow later on players as far as 20 yards apart took damage from it. - fixed
  • Blood Beasts should take 95% decreased damage from AoE abilities, currently it works correctly for all abilities I tested except Death and Decay. - fixed

HEROIC

  • Death of player afflicted with Mark of the Fallen Champion besides health also seems to grant Saurfang extra BP (~20!!!), should only restore 20% of his max health. - fixed

Misc not directly fight related:

  • Deathbringer before becoming hostile (during RP) is shown as a friendly unit (”green health bar” instead of red). - fixed
  • [Alliance] Voice line “Things are about to get much worse..” quote plays right after the previous one ends which makes it feel a bit unnatural. Would be nice to have it delayed by 0.5-1 second if possible. - fixed
  • [Alliance] RP after the fight doesn’t always work, alliance NPCs are here but Saurfang is missing (all voicelines are played, Horde ship arrives but no Horde NPC in sight). - fixed
