FS#40012 - Garrosh - Touch of Y'Shaarj & Pet's Damage Taken
During Mind-Control phases, pets from Hunters (afaik) seem to be taking abnormal damage.

The most common spell across all these logs is Living Bomb which you can see ticking on avg 20-70k of dmg in Tauri, and 1-3k in Retail.
My theory (i can’t reliably test it) is that due to Crossfaction (i’m ally but usually raid with hordes), when you get MC’d pet takes DMG as if it were PvP, or Avoidance pet talent may get disabled somehow during the MC.
