It doesn’t actually give spell damage reduction.

It roughly stays at the same value, I’ve done more tests than in this gif and it was always the same numbers. With or without glyph.
6% should be around 94 less damage.
Edit: it seems like as soon as i manually remove the "Spell warding" Buff (ID=91724), which is caused by the glyph, the 6% damage reduction seems to work. Looks extremly weird.

After restart
I tried it with a dot (it's better, because it's always doing the same damage), and the glyph resulted in a 0,44% decrease. If the extra buff has been clicked off, the deacrease is 6,04%. It's weird indeed.
